-Why: 20+ sold out shows during their current spring tour; it’s pretty amazing that we can welcome these boys home with 3 more sold out shows! Reptilians, the band’s first full-length release with Polyvinyl Records, features songs focused on dying and mortality. But with a life-affirming and positive sound, you’ll surely be dancing and bobbing your head to explosive drum beats and layered synth melodies.
Holocene will have 100 tickets available at 9:30pm on the day of the show.

-Why: Fresh from Coachella and on the brink of a lengthy tour overseas, this NYC quartet visits Portland in support of their sophomore effort, Belong. Channeling their inner Siamese Dream-era Billy Corgan, the twee pop group gets their feet wet with Flood (the big-name producer, Mark Ellis). Gentle fuzzed-out distorted walls of sound? Count me in!

-Why: After annihilating SXSW with nearly a dozen shows, hometown heroes Typhoon are back with an album release party for their latest EP, “A New Kind Of House”.
