When: Wednesday, June 12th – 9:00pm
Why: Although formed in 2010, this Brooklyn quartet has created a buzz-building frenzy over the last year. Where: Backspace
How Much: $5 – $8
When: Friday, June 14th – 8pm

The fly-under-the-radar-types are breaking those confines and carry a thicker, dancier sound from their new album Cold Spring Fault Less Youth into the cozy downstairs lounge of the ‘Fir. They also bring the opportunity to catch UK tourmates, the up-and-comer Holy Other.

It’s an odd Romanian instrument that amplifies the violin with an attached horn, creating a Victrola effect–definitely something to see and hear in person.
