What’s Going On: 4/20 – 4/27


1. The Pains of Being Pure at Heart / Twin Shadow
-Where: Doug Fir
-How Much: $15
-When: Thursday, April 21st – 9pm
-Why: Fresh from Coachella and on the brink of a lengthy tour overseas, this NYC quartet visits Portland in support of their sophomore effort, Belong. Channeling their inner Siamese Dream-era Billy Corgan, the twee pop group gets their feet wet with Flood (the big-name producer, Mark Ellis). Gentle fuzzed-out distorted walls of sound? Count me in!
