Premiere: Mitch Wilson “Exit Only”
Honoring the nature of change, Mitch Wilson is releasing “Exit Only” as the first autumn leaves start to fall. A song he describes as an empowering anthem “about breaking out and starting anew, in a triumphant and uplifting way.”
For the past 10 years, Wilson worked professionally as a drummer and musical director in New York City. With a strong musical background, including extensive time in the orchestra pit on Broadway, “Exit Only” is Wilson’s first ever solo release, paying homage to his big decision to return to his Portland roots. Working with local producer Davey Appaloosa (The Hugs), Wilson seems to have landed on something to be proud of: “My decision to move back to the West Coast wasn’t only about stopping that road-dog life, it was also about starting the next chapter.”
