1. Soft Tags CD Release w/ Massive Moth & The Reservations

Why: This is the release show for the highly anticipated third full-length record, Suit of Lights. The lo-fi folk/psych group is truly a DIY collective–recording, mixing, and manufacturing their own work using mostly analog gear. Their recent EP, Seafoam Green, ran them a whopping $1.72. Get there early to catch friends Massive Moth and The Reservations!
2. Paul Collins’ Beat w/ Garbo’s Daughter & King Louie One Man Band

When: Friday, July 8th – 9pm
Why: Cult-favorite Paul Collins got his start fronting the legendary power-pop trio The Nerves. They toured with The Ramones and when Blondie covered their song, “Hanging On The Telephone” it turned into hit and has since been covered by acts like Cat Power and Davila 666. Grab a friend and get your socks thoroughly rocked—this show will not disappoint.
3. Superfest333: Portland’s 3rd Annual All Ages Electronic Music Festival
Where: Branx
How Much: $7/Night or $10 2-Day Pass at Door
When: Friday, July 8th & Saturday July 9th – 7:30pm
Why: The 3rd annual celebration of Portland’s flourishing live music dance scene! Tons of bands including, but not limited to: Deelay Ceelay, Strength, Guidance Counselor, Purple and Green, Copy, Prescription Pills, and a Sick Jaggers DJ set! And the cherry on top? A ginormous merch table, summer-themed photobooth, and super cool prizes for the best dancers each night as chosen by the bands!
