Michael Marcagi at the Crystal Ballroom, March 14th, 2025

On March 14, 2025, Michael Marcagi headlined McMenamins Crystal Ballroom in Portland. Marcagi has been touring the United States since the beginning of February with support from Ashley Kutcher. Marcagi has shown huge growth the past year, having performed at the Wonder Ballroom the last time he was in Portland. 

Opening the show with a new release, “Keep Me Honest,” Marcagi established his ability to control a crowd. With only nine songs released, Marcagi could sing a few unreleased songs and some covers. Covering “Falling” by Harry Styles, he was able to show his power when performing live. He also covered Olivia Rodrigo’s “Déjà vu” and brought Ashley Kutcher out to sing it with him.

Wrapping up the show with his hit song “Scared to Start,” Marcagi made the audience want more. During the encore, he performed the newly released “Midwest Kid” and a crowd favorite, “The Other Side.” Marcagi will end his spring tour only a month before he sets off to support The Lumineers on their European tour in April.
