Project Pabst 2025!

Project Pabst 2025 has officially wrapped, but the echoes of beer and bass are still rippling through Portland. The beloved two-day festival featured immersive art, food from all sides of town, crowd-surfing pickles, and the best lineup of 2025. With gorgeous weather in the high 70s, festival goers could be seen stopping by INKBUS’ mobile tattoo studio, snapping photos at the Polaroid Photo Booth, cooling off in The Ribbon dive bar with the brand new Pabst Light, and exploring plenty more experiences throughout the festival.



















































Day one kicked off with punk rock band Nasal Rod to help set the tone. Following was hardcore punk group, Gouge Away, and New York-residing indie rock band, Gustaf. Within hours of the gates opening, beer lovers and music heads alike were set up for a day packed with energy. Day one of Project Pabst set quite a high bar with acts like The Exploding Hearts giving us all the nostalgic punk rock charm, following sets by FIDLAR and The Chats that kept the music lovers on their feet with their high energy and visually exciting set. A Portland favorite, Mannequin Pussy didn’t disappoint with their raw emotional performance and undeniable stage presence.
Then, DEVO took the stage at sunset, which felt like a welcome fever dream, performing some of their hit songs, including “Whip It” and “Uncontrollable Urge.” The set was so incredible that local Portlanders lined up on the Morrison Bridge to get a peek. Night one concluded with a headline set from legend Iggy Pop, who showered the crowd with a memorable and energetic performance. DUSTBUNNY started day two’s lineup with a dynamic and ambient feel. Rising star Sam Austin followed with a captivating performance, showcasing his innovative sound and commanding stage presence.
Say She She, a disco-funk, female-led girl group, filled the festival grounds with infectious and seamless harmonies you could hear all around the festival grounds. North Carolina band Wednesday rocked the stage next, followed by a high-powered set from emo-indie rock band Cap’n Jazz. Guitar legend and main vocalist Doug Martsch of Built to Spill put on the show of a lifetime. Then, a wave of euphoria swept the festival as indie-pop band Japanese Breakfast stepped onto the stage. Frontwoman Michelle Zauner captivated the crowd with her effortlessly commanding voice and whimsical stage presence.
Project Pabst weekend was closed out by none other than Death Cab for Cutie. Festival goers were serenaded with chart-toppers like “Soul Meets Body” and crowd favorites like “I Will Follow You into the Dark.”: Project Pabst festival 2025 was an unforgettable weekend of music, community, and of course…beer!
