Sarah and the Sundays headlined Polaris Hall on Sunday, May 4, with support from Beeson. The group from Austin, Texas has been touring since March for their newest album, Like a Damn Dog, opening the show with “Casanova,” a track from the new album. Lead vocalist Liam Yorgensen warned the audience that the show would be full of emotional whiplash. Yorgensen also addressed the importance of community in bringing back hope and fighting the good fight. The band played many new songs but also some old ones, including, “I’m So Bored.” They also covered “Kids,” by MGMT, bringing the energy of the audience to the top for the rest of the show. The band closed out the show with their 2024 single, “The Cue.”
