BENEE and Wallows at The Moda Center, August 6th, 2024

On August 6th , 2024, at the Moda Center’s Theater of the Clouds in Portland, Oregon, The Model Tour kicked off with an electrifying performance by dreamy alt-pop artist all the way from Auckland, New Zealand, BENEE. Known for her playful and whimsical sound, BENEE, captivated the audience with her quirky and lively personality, setting the tone for the evening. BENEE played her viral hits, “Glitter” and “Supalonely”. BENEE’s infectious energy and effortless sound got the crowd excited and ready for the main event.

Following BENEE’s set, alternative pop-rock band Wallows took the stage, headlining the Theater of the Clouds with a mix of sensual and emotional tracks. It was their first appearance in Portland since their 2022 show at the Crystal Ballroom, this time for an even larger crowd. Their set featured new hits from their latest album, Model, including “Calling After Me” and “She’s an Actress,” with lead singer Dylan Minnette commanding the stage and keeping the audience entranced. The performance was an overall must-see, blending vibrant energy with emotional depth Wallows will continue their tour across the USA until late fall before heading to Europe and the UK with their journey culminating in a grand finale in London.
