1. La Luz w/ Heatwarmer & Llyod & Michael

Why: Passing through town on their way to a slew of shows at SXSW, Seattle’s darlings make a stop to show off their new bass player, Lena Simon. A sultry mix of surf, psych, and doo-wop, La Luz’s debut album, It’s Alive, was one of the best records out last year. These ladies are on fire and show no signs of slowing down!
2. Party Boyz Ladiez Night: Sallie Ford w/ Luz Elena Mendoza, Rebecca Gates & Swansea

Why: Those crazy Party Boyz are at it again! This time it’s to showcase some of Portland’s amazing female talent. Featuring Sallie Ford with her brand new all-female band, Luz Elena Mendoza (of Y La Bamba), Rebecca Gates, and Swansea! It’s also International Women’s Day, so grab your favorite ladiez for one heck of a night!
2a. The Prids w/ J.C.Satàn, King Dude & Vice Device

Why: And as if you needed yet another option for Saturday, here’s one heck of a line-up that will be hard to pass up! Vice Device kicks off the night at 9pm sharp with King Dude (WA), and all the way from France, J.C.Satàn! And what’s that? The Prids are playing too? Have mercy!
3. A Happy Death w/ Just Lions & Bubble Cats
Where: The Firkin Tavern
