Why: If you have figured out what all the fuss is behind Shy Girls, what better way to have it all the pop and R&B goodness unfold right in front of your eyes and ears than with the Timeshare EP release party. Why: Pre-Halloween bash with a TON of awesome Portland and Seattle bands. Friday night: The Autonomics, Bubble Cats, Governess, and an album release show for Manx. Saturday night: Foxy Lemon, The Mad Caps, Mister Tang, A Happy Death, Fox and The Law, and LP release for Bath Party! Sunday night: Shark From Mars, Noble Firs, Psychomagic, Mufassa, and an EP release for Coma Serfs.

Why: Oh Valentines, how I’ve missed you. You’re one of my favorite things about autumn–the drinks, the ambiance, the outdoor seating…and of course the spectacular music selection. What better way to start your week than with some pop tunes from a href=”http://www.swimswamswum.org/”>Swim Swam Swum and a little experimental post-punk and synthy-pop from a couple of rad new bands: Full Creature and Ecto.
