1. Yuck w/ The We Shared Milk & Tender Age

Why: After frontman Daniel Blumberg jumped ship last year to focus on his solo project, the London-based indie band decided to keep on truckin’ without him. The trio didn’t waste anytime recording their first album post-Blumberg, releasing released Glow & Behold last September.

2. Big Ass Boombox Festival

3. Modern Kin w/ Young Vienna (debut show)
Where: Rontoms
How Much: Free
When: Sunday, January 26th – 9pm
Why: With the release of their debut album, the Portland trio has filmed a video to accompany their first single, “Abandon”. Directed by Janet Weiss, the video is an homage to Jean-Luc Godard. Join Modern Kin and the debut show of local rock’n’roll band Young Vienna for a night you won’t soon forget.
